Ford’s Gourmet Foods Announces New Product Line

“Southern Yum” brings southern simplicity and goodness to the Ford’s collection

Raleigh, NC, January 25, 2012 - Ford’s Gourmet Foods (FGF) is proud to introduce the “Southern Yum” line as the newest addition to their gourmet food collection.  The new line joins “Bone Suckin Sauce,” “Wine Nuts,” “Fire Dancer,” and “Earth Family Foods” as the fifth product line in the FGF collection.

Southern Yum focuses on featuring southern favorites at their best and providing quality foods that offer “the promise of something good.” “With this line, we want to showcase the classic, traditional foods of the South and show the world the quality we have to offer,” said Sandi Ford, President and Owner of FGF, “We want to guarantee customer satisfaction with every bite of every product!”

The new line is off to a sweet start with its first product: Old Fashioned Pecan Brittle. The buttery brittle is handmade in small batches from North Carolina pecans and comes in two varieties. The first, the Original Soft Pecan Brittle, has been coined “The South’s Softest Pecan Brittle,” and described as “a scrumptious, buttery, sinfully delicious candy that is impossible to resist!” The second, the Milk Chocolate Pecan Brittle, features a chocolate recipe from a 150 year old American chocolate company.

Southern Yum will maintain the FGF standard of featuring all-natural, gluten-free products with no preservatives. “Producing a quality product has always been our top priority,” said Patrick Ford, Vice President of FGF. “This new line gives us the opportunity to do just that while also showcasing the great food traditions of our region of the country.”

Southern Yum products are currently available for wholesale and retail distribution. FGF plans to expand the line over the next year
