Fat Dads BBQ Cooking Team - Sponsored by Bone Suckin' Sauce

Our second competition was part of the Tigard Balloon Festival in Tigard, Oregon, 26 teams, and we ended up winning again.

We made a few revisions this time and had some brisket issues but in general the turn ins were a little better (Chicken 6th, Ribs 1st, Pork Butt 4th, Brisket 9th). Been a long time since we have done well in ribs so it was nice getting first place there.

Another bonus of winning a second contest is that it gives us another entry into the "Jack Draw", meaning another chance to be invited to attend the Jack Daniel's Invitational Competition in October in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

I have attached a few pictures. The first two are Saturday when they had a People's Choice sausage for a charity. We made a bunch of sausage, barbequed it and gave samples to the public. We gave out around 250 samples. People got a sample of the sausage and then had their choice of Bone Suckin' Sauce or our homemade mustard to put on it. We got lots of positive comments on the sauce.

The next two photos are on Sunday showing us putting together the chicken turn in box.

The next to last picture is of the 1st place ribs (using Bone Suckin' products) and the last picture is of my brother and I with the trophy.
